Mr. Sherman graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and has spent the last thirty years in a broad spectrum of assignments in the health insurance industry. His experience includes field sales and executive management, product development and managed care consulting and interim management. Mr. Sherman is a co-founder of National Medical Excess, LLC and has spent the last twenty-two years focused on the sales and marketing of medical stop loss products and the intricacies of initiating and maintaining self-funded healthcare plans for both the public and private employment sector.
Mr. Clark graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and in 1988 from the Joseph M. Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh with an MBA. He spent twenty-five years in the architectural and automotive glass industry serving as the COO of a $200 million multi-operation glass fabricator, and previously as a Vice-President and member of the Management Committee of Pilkington N.A. Mr. Clark is a co-founder of National Medical Excess, LLC and has spent the last twenty years focusing on the sales, marketing and operational aspects of various self-funded healthcare insurance plans.
Ms. Marlowe graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Health Promotion. She has spent her professional years since college involved in programs focusing on employee wellness and life style risk reduction, family and child advocacy and company staffing. Sarah’s responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, client rating and reserve analysis, plan design modeling and health care rate forecasting.
Ms. Gould graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing, with a minor in Finance. Prior to joining NME, she spent time in the logistics field, handling pricing, driver resource management, load optimization and customer service. Marissa’s responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, client rating and reserve analysis, plan design modeling and health care rate forecasting.
Mr. Gabriel graduated from Wesleyan U. in 1981 with a Bachelors in English and a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School in 1986. Mr. Gabriel brings twenty-five years of actuarial healthcare industry experience, including setting of manual rates, setting benefit and plan factors related to manual rates, development of annual renewal rates for health plans, review of various pricing and underwriting factors and setting of plan reserves.
